A young man committed suicide due to an ongoing controversy with his wife in Faridpur village of Police Station Rampur Mathura area. 23-year-old Kuldeep gave his life by hanging him with the support of a saree on the roof of his house. This tragic incident caused a wave of mourning in the whole village.
According to information received, Kuldeep had a controversy with his wife for the past one week. Meanwhile his wife went to her mother. Kuldeep called him several times and pleaded to come back, but he was mentally upset with his wife’s not returning. In the same injured mood, he took suicidal step on Monday evening around 4 pm.
Relatives informed police shortly after receiving information about the incident. As soon as the information was received, Police Station In-charge Krishna Nandan Tiwari, Chowki In-charge Sanjay Singh arrived on the spot with heavy police force and inspected the scene. Police have taken the dead body into custody and sent the district headquarters for post-mortem throughout Panchanama.
Police are investigating the case, while relatives and rural people are deeply shocked by the young man’s suicide.
