A unique confluence of devotion and devotion in the holy month of Shravan was seen today at the holy land of Noorpur, when Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa ji officially inaugurated the Nagni Mata Mela with the divine procession. Bowing down at the feet of Maa Nagni Devi, she wished the people of the region on this auspicious festival and said that such spiritual events awaken our cultural consciousness. Deputy Commissioner appreciated temple committee’s loyalty towards cleanliness and regional cooperation and called to further increase the dignity of this holy fair with public participation.
Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa ji praised the newly constructed Bhandara site, Bhajan-Kirtan Manch and contact routes in the temple premises as divine service. He urged the temple committee to give public welfare a top priority in future activities as well. Specifically, he conveyed message of cooperation in service activities like TB elimination and shared the resolution of being Nikshay friends with the present pilgrims. He said that the coordination of religion and service is the identity of true devotion.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed to make special water drainage and cleanliness to ensure that the pilgrims should not face any difficulty due to the rainy season. He spoke to the temple committee and the panchayat about ensuring special budget under the 15th Finance Commission for sanitization. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner was honored with shawl, cap and souvenir by the temple committee. In cultural programs, folk artists made devotees emotional by singing the glory of Maa Nagni. Administrative officers, public representatives and large numbers of devotees were attending the feet of mother on this holy occasion and earning virtues.
